Around fourteen bites to a 50 g pouch, beechwood-smoked the way BiFi has done it since 1975 — but with chicken instead of the pork and beef the brand built its name on, and real Parmigiano Reggiano worked into the salami itself.

How BiFi makes them

Chicken is seasoned and formed into miniature salami, with the Parmigiano Reggiano going in before smoking rather than dusted on afterwards. The salami are then smoked slowly over beechwood, losing water and gaining intensity as they go. The plant-based casing, loaded with herbs and thyme, goes on last. All of it is produced at BiFi's own facility in Germany by LSI-Germany GmbH.

Taste and texture

Lighter than the pork-and-beef Tasty Bites, but nowhere near bland: the Parmesan brings a nutty, salty depth chicken alone would never reach, and the thyme keeps it fresh rather than heavy. The chew is a touch softer than Thai Hot Chili or Hungarian Paprika, with the same firm snap from the casing. It is the most Italian-tasting thing in the range by a distance.
